What is it THE ULTIMATE BETRAYAL about? 
It’s about the theft of chemical weapons from an army depot in Colorado. Jessie Kegan, the heroine, is determined to prove her father, an army colonel, is innocent of the crime.

We were introduced to characters from the Maximum Security San Diego office in this book and you also floated the possibility of a new office in Denver.

What does this mean for future books and/or offshoot series?
I have one more Garrett brother’s story to complete the series or at least the first part of it. Reese’s book, THE PERFECT MURDER, is finished and will be out in 2021. Currently, I’m working expanding the series into the Denver office. I’m excited to set more books in the beautiful state of Colorado

What did you enjoy most about writing this book?
At the time I am writing, it all just seems like very hard work. Once I am over the half-way mark, I can begin to enjoy interacting with the characters. Jessie and Brandon were two of my all-time favorites. They just seemed to fit perfectly together.

Where do you get inspiration for your stories?
The best place is traveling, which has been nearly impossible this year. Researching a story idea helps me with plotting.

Do you listen to music while you write, need total silence, or do you have the TV on?
Total silence works for me. Luckily I live 25 miles out in the country, so not much to bother me.

How do you come up with titles for your books?
I am terrible at titles. Many of them are changed by the publisher. It’s a real talent and not one I am blessed with.

If there is one thing you want readers to remember about you, what would it be?
That I write stories that make you feel really good when you finish reading them.

If you could cure a disease, what would it be?
Cancer.

If you could only have one season, what would it be?
Fall is my favorite.
